If you look at teenagers you may think that they don’t understand the importance of sport and healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, they often behave in a stupid way though they know how important sport and healthy lifestyle are . Due to their carelessness they may become addicted to fast food and fizzy drinks. Many pupils like to miss lessons but very few of them want to be ill so as not to attend school. As for me, I dislike lying down and taking medicine so I do everything not to be at risk of falling ill. My recipe for being healthy is to do sports and mind what I eat. Being in shape gives a feeling that you are capable of doing everything. Some people complain about making careless mistakes thinking that they are simply absent minded. They fail to realise that they are under stress and overworked. You can’t expect yourself to be perfect if you are half-sleepy. Doing sport increases your ability to concentrate while being involved into some mental activity. My favourite sporty activity is jogging. You can’t call it a proper sport though it is as beneficial as any other kind of sport. I usually jog in the evening as I don’t want to be tired in the morning. Having run a few kilometers in the morning puts some unnecessary pressure on your body. If you do it in the evening it will help you fall asleep without problems.

1. What kinds of sport do you enjoy?

As I said before I prefer jogging to other kinds of sporty activity. Jogging helps to relax after a hard day at school. This kind of physical activity lets my brains relax after numerous intellectual challenges at school. I am not going to take part in competitions. I run for pleasure.

Apart from running you may start swimming since it is one the kinds of sports which you can’t overdo. Swimming develops legs, hands and lungs. I go to the swimming pool once a week all year round. I seldom fall ill thanks to my regular visits to it.

3. Do you think you could become a vegetarian?

To tell the truth I don’t understand why people refuse to eat meat. Meat contains vitamin B12 and amino acids which can’t be gained by eating other kinds of food. That’s why I will never become a vegetarian. Vegetables and fruit are important but your diet should be balanced.

4. What are your school dinners like?

Most pupils often complain about their school dinners. Fortunately, we are satisfied with the dinners we have at our school. You can buy various salads, different kinds of porridge and, of course, potato which are followed with sausages.
