Одним из вариантов поступления без ЦТ является успешное участие в региональных олимпиадах, проводимых университетами. Однако следует отметить, что олимпиадникам отдается не более 15% от имеющихся мест от плана набора на выбранную специальность. При подготовке к университетским олимпиадам имеет смысл ориентироваться на задания республиканских олимпиад по английскому языку. Частично мы уже обращались к ним в плане подготовки к ЦТ и ЦЭ, но сейчас обратимся к заданиям не типичным для тестирования key word transformation. В начале нулевых они были достаточно частым гостем олимпиад и поэтому мы обратимся к очень старым архивам.

Дополнено: из открытых источников известно, что на данный момент задания олимпиад по английскому языку составляют 40 вопросов с вариантами ответов и 10 вопросов открытого типа, где среди прочих тем как словообразование и предлоги с фразовыми глаголами и может встретиться рассмотренный выше перифраз.
