Одной из основных задач учителя, который готовит к ЦТ по английскому языку является подборка таких учебных материалов, которые будут способствовать постоянному повторению необходимого лексического материала. Для этой цели хорошо подходят учебники написанные В.Эванс. В них постоянно мелькает один и тот же набор лексики. Если взять Round Up 5 и Grammar way 3 у вас будет и материал для изучения и для практики. У совершенства нет предела, но материалы этих двух учебников с легкостью покрывает потребности участников ЦТ в рамках темы фразовые глаголы.

Список фразовых глаголов из Round Up 5

Если учитывать, что у ряда глаголов в списке более одного значения, то можно утверждать, что в Round Up 5 более 100 глаголов. Этот список в подавляющем большинстве с лихвой перекрывает потребности ЦТ по этой теме.
break down 1) перестать работать (о механизме) 2) потерять контроль над собой (о людях)
break into (+ объект):1) проникнуть внутрь помещения с помощью силы 2) начать делать что-то неожиданно
break out:1) начаться внезапно (война,пожар,эпидемия) 2) сбежать откуда-то

bring about: привести к чему-то в качестве результата
bring out: опубликовать, выпустить в продажу

call in : заглянуть к кому-то на короткий промежуток времени

take up : заняться хобби, спортом.
turn sb down : отказать, отклонить просьбу
turn sth down : уменьшить громкость и так далее
turn on : включить свет, радио (антоним: turn off)
turn to sb : обратиться за помощью
turn up :1) (о возможности) возникнуть 2) прибыть / появиться
turn sth up : увеличить громкость и так далее
turn sth out : произвести

Задания на закрепление знаний по теме фразовые глаголы

Не удивляйтесь, что ряд глаголов и типовых ситуаций для них будет повторяться. Принцип интервального повторения можно реализовывать разными способами.
Часть 1

1. Our renter’s insurance ran out last month. We had to do renew it.
2. Some people blamed Harry when he got into trouble, but his fiance stood by him.
3. She was rushing around trying to put out the fire in the kitchen.
4. You can’t just run away from your responsibilities. Be trustworthy!
